KRIS FILED A LAWSUIT BECAUSE OF THE REASONS WE CANNOT CONFIRM YET .. ABOUT THERE A MANY RUMORS SAID THAT THE REASON HE DID THAT WAS HE WANTED TO REQUEST AN EARLY CONTRACT TERMINATION ( WHICH THAT MEANS HE WANTED TO STOP HIS CONTRACT ) .

Seoul Central District receives Kris's lawsuit file against SME,

In the updated news, the Seoul Central District Court already received and accepted the lawsuit filed by EXO-M Kris against his agency SM Entertainment to terminate his contract.

According to Chinese reports, they revealed that Kris has already planned to file a lawsuit one month ago. The official expressed that two years of success is quite short and it's saddening to see one member leaving just the time they've had their 1st our.

Moreover, Seoul Central District told 10Asia that Kris filed the lawsuit under his Chinese name Wu Yi Fan. They stated that the it is yet to be processed and SME hasn't responding yet.

OTHER THAN THAT , THERE'S A RUMOR THAT HE ALSO HAD A HEALTH PROBLEM . ITS BEEN REPORTED BY CHINESE MEDIA SITE , SINA .

The report alleged, "Kris was diagnosed with suspected myocarditis at the hospital." A medical certificate with Kris' Chinese name 'Wu Yi Fan' was also provided as proof. Sina stated that a medical professional commented, "I can't say that he has a heart problem, but his creatine kinase and isozyme levels are higher than average, so we can't exclude the possibility of myocarditis. In cases like this, we suggest another examination, and if the levels are still high, we suggest treatment from a specialist as well as rest."

Kris is said to have received a diagnosis of suspected myocarditis on a visit to a hospital in Guangzhou, China when he returned from the '12th Korean Musical Festival' in Los Angeles, California on May 2.

To add to the reports, a former SM Entertainment trainee and self-labeled friend of Kris named Song Byung Yang posted to Weibo about the situation. He wrote, "As a musician who spent 7 years in Korea, I can completely understand Kris' decision and the dilemma he went through. As an old friend of his, it wasn't easy seeing him struggle due to the severe mental stress and fatigue. Because his body couldn't handle it, he even developed heart problems. Everyone, support and understand Kris. I hope that you show him even more kindness now. Yi Fan, I welcome you home."

1 . EXO KRIS LEAVING SM CONFIRM

I will keep this short. Nothing is confirmed but Sina Weibo is reporting that Kris is allegedly terminating his contract with SM a la Hangeng.

There has been no confirmation from either SM Entertainment or Kris himself. According to Sina, however, he has filed paperwork for termination of his contract with the courts. Everything is speculation at this point until we can get something more concrete. There are stories that he is currently back in Canada, but that could mean a lot of things.

[EDIT] Things are moving quick. According to this DAUM article SM is refuting the report from Sina of Kris' contract termination and saying they've never heard of it.

[EDIT2] It looks like Sina Weibo has given the entire EXO fandom a pointless heart-attack for no reason. Allegedly, there was a mix up with this article about a Chris suing MNet. If so, this will be the biggest gaff in history. OP is happy this was all resolved in record time.

[EDIT3] So apparently not yet over because Sina Weibo has now posted a scan they have of the lawsuit which allegedly cites Kris' name. /SIGH

[EDIT4] Current developments: Sina Weibo is still insisting this to be true with alleged images of the lawsuit; SM has denied this lawsuit through DAUM; there are reports the Seoul Courts have said this is false through WStar News.

[EDIT5] There are alleged reports that the Seoul Courts are now saying there is a lawsuit in their system under Kris' Chinese name. There have been no official responses coming from SM Entertainment.

[EDIT6] There are reports that the Seoul District Court have allegedly confirmed that they have recieved a lawsuit from Kris to terminate his contract. There are currently no responses to media outlets from SM Entertainment.

[EDIT7] SM Entertainment has now confirmed that there is a lawsuit and it has been filed and they will try their best to "resolve it".

[EDIT8] [TRANS] SM's Statement to TVDaily: Regarding the lawsuit of Kris' termination of his exclusive contract, we are still finding out the truth of it and it's a rather bewildering situation for us. We will do our best for EXO's promotions to be carried out smoothly.

On “M!Countdown,“ EXO-K performed “Overdose” (pre-recorded before the news), but only the leader Suho came up to the last stage to accept the award for their win. During his speech, Suho talked about how the group’s motto is “We Are One” and that they are determined to stick with it. Osen reported that they talked to Suho backstage, where he told them the other members have discussed the situation and cannot understand Kris’ actions. He said, “I think his actions are irresponsible and does not take EXO into consideration at all. Our members and the company do not have any problems. I think what Kris needs to do now is to take back the lawsuit and apologize to the members and the company.”

EXO-M member Tao took to his Instagram account to share his thoughts about the ordeal. He wrote in Chinese, “The road ahead is still very long/windy. You can decide to go anywhere; no one else can make that kind of decision for you. The truth is always hidden from the public, and is something that only the people who are personally going through it can understand. For example, our 11 members, our company SM, and all of the staff. The good and bad are turned upside-down on the outside. You guys won’t experience the feeling of being betrayed, and the feeling of having everyone on the side of the person who has betrayed you. You can have your own views and positions, but I still want to say, the truth will differentiate who is right and wrong, so we have a clear conscience. Chanyeol and Sehun put up more subtle images on their Instagram accounts. Sehun expressed his uncertainty about the situation with a simple question mark. For Chanyeol’s photo he wrote in Chinese and Korean, “Reward good and punish evil.”

Fans are also commenting that the EXO members who have Instagram have unfollowed Kris, except for Baekhyun.
